Lyric soprano, Megan Barrera currently resides in Miami, FL. She is actively pursuing her passions of performing, directing, and educating in the operatic world.

News

• Dr. Barrera will narrate the Cleveland Orchestra's Educational Concerts in Miami, FL on November 15th and 16th, 2023 at the Knight Concert Hall. 

• Dr. Barrera will sing with Florida Opera Prima on November 19th, 2023 at the Coral Gables Museum.

• Dr. Barrera will reprise the role of Teresa Santos in an "Always Remember" Songs in Concert January 12 & 13th, 2024. 

• Dr. Barrera will perform in the world premiere concert of "Macabrifesto," an 8-movement fantasy at First Church Miami March 1, 2, & 3, 2024. 

• Dr. Barrera will direct and produce Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel with the New World School of the Arts College Opera Theatre Ensemble April 20th and 21st, 2024.
